Throughout my faith challenge, I had to believe that ALL things were possible……

Along this faith journey, I’d like to share with my readers the songs that stirred up my “hope.”  “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12 NIV)  I didn’t need a sick heart and I wanted my longing or desire of seeing God perform all of Ezekiel 21:27 (KJV) fulfilled.  There are several promises all wrapped up in that one verse of Scripture, and I was in great expectation to see all of them manifest.  In order for that to happen, I made the conscious effort to maintain my joy level in nearly all of my challenges, and there were many.  Not only physical challenges, but emotional, mental, and financial challenges.  Trust me, there were a few situations where I needed to use my faith to access the joy, but I knew that joy was essential for maintaining my strength in Him, and to finish strong in faith.

Because….”The joy of the Lord is my strength!” (Nehemiah 8:10 KJV).  My pastor, and many of our visiting pastors, had on-time Words from heaven to stir my faith.  And my pastor’s band, the RVN Band, also had songs that kept my faith kindled.  With God, from the Double Blessing CD, is just one of those songs.  There will be many more songs and many other scenarios along this journey of a lifetime.  I hope you’ll stay with me until we reach the finish line–I am on my victory lap and finishing strong!

  1. Amen, and thanks for the reply. The journey continues to get even more exciting because it’s a “fixed fight.” I cannot be defeated, because God is on my team! Thanks for the note.
